DeAnna Yarbrough was born in a quaint little city in Indiana and was raised under the esteem guidance of Toonami, handheld game consoles, and a load of puzzles. It was through these inspirations that a drive to create and mold pure imagination was born. The drive was so strong, in fact, that DeAnna graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in illustration to make her inspirations into a physical, tangible career path. DeAnna’s focus is to bring two-dimensional illustrations to life with intricately cut paper and fluid ink line art. The main objective is to bring human interactivity from the illustration to the viewer. Subject matter is infinite (but horror movies are always a plus!) and the possibilities of paper mechanisms is endless. DeAnna’s goal is to break the convention of sweet, cutesy paper-cuts and bringing them to a whole new (dark!) environment. Read Less
