Introduction
As a practice project for my graphic design course we had to design a logo for a short-format video streaming app called Flux Video. The main objective of the project was to create a logo that can bring out the following keywords: trendy, youthful, hip, edgy, dynamic. The other objective was to ensure that the logo looks good in small places.
In order to design the logo I used a grid which represents a combination of the alphabet 'F' and a video camera.
Colours
For the colours I used a gradient for the background consisting of the following four colours:
dark cyan (#003F3F)
fluorescent green (#00FF00)
dark green (#004703)
navy blue (#000038)
White (#FFFFFF) and dark cyan (#003F3F) has been used as the two colours for typography
The last gradient for the logo on the white and black background include the following colours:
dark cyan (#003F3F)
fluorescent green (#00FF00)
dark green (#004703)
Typography
As the main font for the logo Briberra Regular has been used and for the secondary Open Sans Light.
