For Fibromyalgia Awareness Day 2019 I decided to take upon a personal project and illustrate how this chronic condition I’ve been living with for over 12 years looks and feels like.
The project consisted in lightly branding the effort, capturing what it feels like to have fibromyalgia vs what it looks like from the outside through my food illustration and creating a set of storytelling assets for Instagram stories.
On May 12, I strategically posted the project on my Instagram feed and stories to increase awareness and share a friendly 101 to fibromyalgia and my personal experience.
