UNHIDE CONTEST | ANIMES-MANGS-TOKUSATSUS-E-GAMES-JAPONESES-NO-BRASIL | 2020
Saint Seiya is a famous japanese manga / anime and was a huge success in Brazil during the 90's. The character in this art is Radamanthys, one of the three hell judges on Hades saga.
To create this image, I did some shots with real fire*, copper sulfate, a cement base and my Radamanthys action figure**. Since he is from hell and his armos represents a dragon, I thought I could create an image where a big fire dragon is invoked by him, to represent the grandeur of this great character.
Unhide is a brazilian digital art school that promotes contests among it´s students. This theme is very special because it was part of my childhood and I was always inspired by japanese art, so i decided to create this personal work and participate in the contest.
*Please, if you plan to work with real fire, watch some firefighter security tips and be as careful as possible to handle it. It's dangerous and can be very harmful.
