Spoopy spirits | Yokai series
Had an idea for ghost-like cats - one of those moments where there is this very vivid image of the end result in your imagination. I paused my podcast as it happened, halfway through my yoga session, and scribbled it down into my day planner, just to make sure I wouldn't lose the idea.
The idea simmered for a few days, and - well - here we are. I sketched and pieced it together into this. There are, after all, so many spirits around us, waiting to be seen...

Whimsical kittens, that may or may not have passed on and returned to this world as spirits to hunt down that fly that got away, and follow up on that thread of yarn they could never find the end of.

Little antlers and soft feet, these forest fairies sit by the berries they used to eat while they were still in the world of the living, wishing their bodies hadn't yet decomposed.
