Air Max 1 Concept

The Air Max 1 was the first shoe by Nike to reveal the air-cushioned sole, releasing in 1987. A first of its kind, the sole in this shoe paved the way for the next generation of shoe design, which is still going successfully to this day.

The classic silhouette has been deconstructed and reconstructed it into a shoe suited for an urban trailblazer. Inspired by the love a sneakerhead carries for their shoes, the elasticated tongue system paired with the inner sock tubing make the shoe hug you.
