While the issue of gender pay gap has been present in our society since the beginning of time and has received it’s due attention in the Western society, the Indian society still has a lot to catch up on. The first step towards bridging the pay gap is acknowledging its presence and hence taking relevant measures to counter it, which includes dealing with the patriarchal mindset deeply embedded in our society.
