A theoretical pen design for Stephen Hawking. 

It represents Stephen Hawking's life research of black holes and radiation. The pen represents a black hole which sits in the pen holder which represents the radiation. The pen holder and the form of the pen are designed to be ergonomic for Stephen Hawking in his later years.
