Promo video for light festival​​​​​​​
My task was to develop a promotional video for a team of enthusiasts, which makes lighting installations. They wanted the video to convey the night atmosphere, bright spots of light and variety of light. The video should be short (up to 20 seconds) and expressive.

To make it clear that the Festival of Light is about "looking", I made the eyes the main object. We perceive light with it. Since the viewer rarely reads the text in the advertisement, there is not much of it here. I think a commercial should evoke emotion. If a person sees the key messages and becomes emotionally involved, they will go to the main resource.
Process & moodboard

I had not been to light shows before, so I began to arm myself with knowledge, looking for good visuals on various resources.
When I saw examples of light installations, I decided that the dominant colors would be blue (light) and dark blue (night), adding contrast with bright pink and yellow. They fit well according to Itten's theory.
I chose dynamic and deep music, I think that it emphasizes the mysterious mood of the event.
