Chris Larkin, from Stroke association, introduced me to Charlotte a young and strong girl that had a stroke but thanks to her strength and the support of her family she was able to recover, start playing and enjoying life again.
Inspired by what happened to her younger sister, Megan wrote this story and together we made this short animation. She dreams to become a professional animator and I see a bright future ahead of her!

Her idea was that – Strokina (the baddy stroke) is chasing a group of people and traps them inside bubbles. Super C (Charlotte her sister the hero) manages to break out of the bubble and then helps by motivating other people to break out of their stroke bubbles.

Animation exercise: 20 seconds animation about a subject that couldn't actually be shown, it was possible to talk about it, to see the reaction it caused on the environment or other characters, write about it and so on...
My word/subject was "cake" and the genre was Comedy/Horror.
Technique: traditional animation, hand drawn frames, animated in After Effects.

"A little hungry boy sees a seed on a little table. Not understanding and ignoring the "Don't touch!" sign he eats the seed and something unexpected happens...."
