The day before departure I was coming back home and saw a cheap digital camera in the window of a pawn shop. It was still open so I decided to buy it – I thought it would be good to have something to keep my memories alive after I come back.
This camera was no better than today’s smartphones so I didn’t expect too much from the photos, but when I recently stumbled upon them again I was surprised by how many good shots are there. I decided to give them a second life by converting them to black and white and editing a little.
It was a beautiful experience of bringing back memories.

That's how I started with photography – with a cheap camera on a journey to the unknown....
