Nolton Corner

Brief: Redesign the current menus so that they fit in with the bar’s unique theme

Background: “We like to think of ourselves as the lovechild of a raw prohibition speakeasy fused with a stylish wine society, where our walls are exposed just like our vibes”
Nolton Corner is a cocktail bar based in Bridgend, situated on the corner of Nolton Street, hence the name. They pride themselves on excellent, high-quality cocktails and a rusty, grungy aesthetic whilst having an upper-class and chic elegance, welcoming all types of customers.
To tie in with the bar’s speakeasy theme a stylish martini glass pattern was made to create a fitting Art Deco appearance. The font Copasetic is used for all the headings to fit with this style. This 1920s design is very fitting to both themes of the bars as it is also very stylish.
These designs are made to highlight more of the class of the bar with a lot less going on but also keeping the unique grittiness of the bar with the exposed brick walls and painted typography.
