Ferrari F136 FL

" One can argue for a long time whether Maranello adheres to this philosophy to this day, but it is absolutely certain that some of the best motors in the world are collected there.

V-shaped "eight" F136 in various variations appeared not only on cars with a prancing stallion on the hood, but also on some Maserati models. Still, the most outstanding version of it was used on the mid-engined Ferrari 458 Speciale. For her, the 4.5-liter "aspirated" was boosted to 605 liters. with., that is, from each liter of volume it was possible to remove an incredible 135 horsepower.

Nissan RB26DETT

The RB six-cylinder engine family was produced from 1985 to 2004, but it was the RB26DETT version that was most famous. The inline-six with twin turbocharging was installed on three generations of the Nissan Skyline GT-R sports car almost unchanged.

Formally, the engine power did not exceed the limit of 280 hp set by the Japanese automakers. with., however, according to unofficial data, the motor of the serial GT-R could develop 325 horsepower. With simple manipulations, for example, raising the boost pressure and flashing the ECU, the power could easily be brought to 400 hp. with., which was often used by the owners of such machines.

Alfa Romeo Busso V6

The development of this engine in the 1970s was carried out by the designer Giuseppe Busso, in honor of him the motor got its name. In 1979, the V-6 made its debut on the Alfa 6 business sedan. The first 2.5-liter version had two valves per cylinder and was powered by several Dell'Orto carburetors, and the maximum engine power in this configuration was 156 horsepower.

Later, following the introduction of Bosch L-Jetronic direct fuel injection to fuel sales of the 75 in the United States, Alfa Romeo announced a 3.0-liter version with 185 horsepower. Its modified version will subsequently be used on small-scale two-door SZ and RZ, created in conjunction with the body shop Zagato.

The engine proved its efficiency not only on public roads, but also on rally stages. From 1996 to 1999, Mitsubishi factory team pilot Tommi Mäkinen took four championship titles in a row.
