aims to rethink about three common objects: receipts,
price tags, and transportation tickets by scanning,
cutting and using parts of them to create something
meaningful and new. The project focuses on letters,
numbers, and glyphs’ manipulation which are present
on the printed objects themselves.
The first publication is about receipts and it aims
to criticise the consumerist world. Letters are used
to create random poems. The second booklet is
about price tags and criticises the fast-fashion world:
it shows some data about fast-fashion using
the price tags' numbers. The transportation tickets
publication underlines the transportation pollution
and it is more conceptual. It illustrates on several
maps the travels I did during the last months
by underlining the distance with a glyphs' path.
Inside of it there is a small photographic insert
with a collection of pictures I took during the travels
described. On the side of each picture, there’s
a satellite picture to show the exact place where
they have been taken.
