In this project, I had to create a publication that represented Stoke-on-Trent. In this case, I chose the direction of creatively capturing Stoke-on-Trent's pottery heritage; the history of Josiah Spode the 'first' and the 'second'. In the design of the publication, I took advantage of understanding the process of how Porcelain is made, and Josiah Spode the first's blue under-glazed printed earthenware.

Each page in the publication has different paper stock texture. The feel of each page resembles the feeling of touching Porcelain in both its fired and unfired form.
