Color of night
The series was realized in January 2020 in Joshua Tree National Park, CA.
My partner, photographer Per Schorn and me enjoyed the sunset and then, after nightfall, took our pictures of this unique landscape in a combination of long exposure and strobe. The photographs were used as background design for the video 'All is not lost' of the band 'The Tex Avery Syndrome'. In this context the extraordinary color grading was created.
