Originally created for Light Grey's Art Lab exhibition of ‘World Roulette’. ‘World Roulette’ features 150 worlds by 150 artists from across the globe. Each artist was given a list of prompts, selected through an online randomizer. Through those prompts, we were to create a world.
My world is one of a remote, traditional people deep in the tropical rainforest whose habitat is diminishing each day by selfishness of the outside world. They live among the trees, inspired by the birds around them. Inspired by posters from previous wars, this is a propaganda poster reminding the people to defend their land. To stand tall.
