Created a photo illustration for Atlantic Monthly using Adobe Photoshop and a magazine spread layout using Adobe InDesign. Techniques used were layer masks, adjustment filters, and transformations.

Edited background with filters for desaturation, contrast, and noise to create a cohesive look with other photos
Created TV image using layer mask to hide background and warping a static photo to fit the screen
Added a gradient to the background to increase contrast
Used bevel and emboss effects on the wires and ports to add dimension
Created a bold drop cap to add interest to the body copy for the magazine spread
Created the article title using a bold digital font to reinforce the theme of the illustration
