I created this new word mark, letter mark and logo for a local company called 'Banjo & Guitar', which offers bluegrass and country music lessons. They already had a word mark created by an online logo generator, which they wanted to improve upon. They did like its woodcut aesthetic, which I retained for them in my woodcut-style illustration of a guitar and banjo. I recommended that their new logo mark shouldn't be in a box, as this makes it less versatile, and that the logo should more immediately communicate that the company provides music lessons (it showed a mountain scene). I referenced the visual style of bluegrass and country music and old Westerns, particulaurly in my typography, but in a way that is quite contemporary and understated.
