Susanoo was a brand created for a team in North American Contenders. The idea of the branding was originally to reference the popular anime Akame Ga Kill. The colors were taken from that aesthetic and tweaked in regards of how much of it was used. The idea of a group of assassins also references the anime and the branding later took a different path form the anime and had them be contracted assassins. The name Susanoo comes from the mythological Japanese god who created the sword. Below we will explain how our thought process and how we incorporated the anime into our ideas.
