In response to this brief, I had played with both physical and technical techniques, as well as creating more than one piece before I chose to pursue this final outcome. Some techniques included cutting black pieces of paper to create geometric shapes so they can reveal specific parts of an image, while employing Photoshop blending methods to create a more softer transparency to interact with image.
