As the first generation since the reform and opening-up in China in 1976, Chinese post-1980s generation was also affected by the broader issues exposed by the new explorations and challenges in China societal development. These issues impacted their entire lives, which means that the seemingly positive social development also has s negative impact on Chinese post-1980s generation life experience.
