Project Kvas is built around the process of being inspired from example, learning by building, and changing through design. Users can create modular and accessible objects - primarily furniture - from found, repurposed materials to empower people to create positive change in communities through tactical urbanism and design.
Sketching ideas for how the Chable will function and the spatial dimensions. Comparing pencil sketches with furniture standard dimensions, then challenging the structural integrity of various cardboard mockups. Once kinks were resolved, modeling chair virtually helped for realizing scale and proximity relationships.
Card deck that helps the ideation process by combining movements, problems, and tools/materials in different ways to explore new outcomes and solutions.
Short animations that help guide builders through the constructions process. These animations are accompanied by instructions on the website
