RUTE - A digital magazine for iPad
In this project we were asked by an airline company to design a digital magazine for iPad.
The magazine explores the city of Barcelona and is to be read during the flight. We decided to divide the contents of the magazine into four topics: fashion, culture, dining and nightlife.
Barcelona is a city that always reveals another undiscovered part to you, a city that is always familiar and yet always surprising. The places reatured in the magazine were all chosen personally by us, magical places we have found during our stay here in Barcelona.
The contents are divided into two types; articles and guides.
The challenge in this project was to bring the print design into to the digital world. The magazine is very print-like at first glance, but combines full interaction with all types of multimedia; photo galleries, videos, music etc.
Utilizing all the means at our disposal, we have created a fully interactive digital magazine that reflects our love to the vibrant city of Barcelona.
