A longtime friend of mine used to work at our college's student news magazine with me, some years ago. She wrote this article detailing her experience growing up as a closeted LGBT+ youth, and about her engagement to her partner of ~8 years. I was overjoyed to have the chance to design the spread for the story. I've always been happy with how this spread came out; it presented an opportunity to problem-solve, which has always been something I've valued.
