The Assignment: to create a nontraditional invitation for a museum opening or concert that uses an unusual method of construction.

The Leonardo Museum in Salt Lake City has an exhibition on the science of flight. So, I decided how cool would the mock-up invite be, if it were a paper airplane? Each fold reveals a nugget of information to the viewer. The directional lines are sharp and dynamic offering movement to the plane. The subtly of the flight paths on the foreground of the piece also add a touch of magic and movement. Not only does the invite offer information to the exhibition, but it also can be used to play with flight in your own home.
