This was a little practice watercolour painting i did to get myself back into watercolour painting, the image reference I used for this project was from Craig of The Creek, a cute kids show on Cartoon Network. I found this one a difficult because watercolour painting is so different from acrylic painting. Acrylic painting was easier to tame while the watercolours often pooled one spot and I had to wait for the paint to dry. Over time, I got a handle on the watercolour techniques, adding detail to the rocks and shadows. It was a great way to introduce myself to the paint style, I definitely have more to learn but I love the journey so far!
