Go here and click on the Forgot Password? the link above the password field.
Enter your email address and click on Continue. Don't close this page; the Ancestry website must remain on this page while you check your email because you'll return thereto to enter your reset code. you'll usually receive the reset code within 5 minutes. Don't request it quite once within 5 minutes. If you not have access to the e-mail address related to your account, please give us a call.
During a new tab or window, check your email inbox for a password reset code. If you did not get any code then click on the resend button again. This time check your spam folder also. Repeat step 1 and 2 with the email that you used with you account if you did not get the code. On the Reset Password page, you kept open, enter your code, and click on Continue. The code is case-sensitive, so enter the entire code from your email as it is given by the system.
