When my teacher told the class to make a yard sign of course my brain immediately went to "I need to make a sign that sends a message." However, I hate aggressive or divisive yard signs. So I created this. "Together we are strong. Unite America!" This yard sign does not take a political side, rather it throws out the idea of having sides. This sign does in fact take a side, but it is that of the American people as a whole. I also wanted to include the colored stripes of blue (Law Enforcement), red (Fire/EMS), Green (Military), Yellow (Dispatch). In doing so I included the main protective services illustrating if we want unity we must accept their protection.
