This observational drawing of a large crystal engaged both the left side and the right side of my brain, in what felt like a Calculus test! To capture the sheer amount of values involved in this quartz took several weeks. The final result's absence of surroundings allows viewers to see it as any size, mountainous or tiny enough to fit into an engagement ring. Most people can't even tell what it is, and I like that.
