UK Seasonal Veggies Calendar
This calendar provides information about vegetables in season in the UK, in every particular month. I want to motivate to buy local veggies and, therefore, support local farmers, to be more friendlier to the Mother Earth.
This calendar can be used every year, as it doesn’t have week planners, making it practical by saving paper and eliminating the need to buy a new calendar each year.
The technic used is digital collage from the pictures of various vegetables, found on the Internet. The idea was to show the beauty of colours, textures and juiciness of veggies in an abstract form. Every spread has the vegetables in season listed on it. Carrots, onions and potatoes were not used in this calendar, as they can be stored and sold the whole year round.
