Competitions
As well as the student competition I am also going to enter the series into the professional portraiture category of the World Photo competition and some individual images into the open competition.. I am pleased with the body of work as a whole and have a particular fondness of the portrait of my dad, Andy, and also of David the Farmer, who is the son of the owner of Fishponds Farm.
I also want to seek feedback from peers and tutors about the work and its potential legs for other competitions like the AOP, Taylor Wessing, and Portrait of Britain Awards. The core idea and aesthetic of the work I suppose is individuals who create work in their own spaces and feed that work into the community. I would love to continue to work on this idea and hopefully create a continuous body of work that can form my FMP looking at a wider variety of professionals and their spaces moving forward into the new year.
