This was a university project that involved me learning about copywriting and pamphlet design. I was given an actual client for this project, a jewelry designer called Liz Hancock. This is the pamphlet I produced for her. It was designed to act as more of a gallery in terms of advertising instead of giving prices; if people wanted her prices they would visit her website or contact her. The pamphlet measures 120mm x 180mm. It is hand-bound using the Japanese stab-stitch binding method, and uses a gray cotton-wool mix thread to bind it. I have used two different paper stocks here as well - the first is a 100gsm handmade paper by Katie MacGregor for the pages, and the second is a 300gsm watercolour paper for the front and back covers. Each of the pages are different sizes to create a step effect so that they give the viewer an idea of what her work is like without even opening the cover.
