Lockdown Editorial
I designed a feature story in the style of the featured magazine as a double page spread. I generated an image in response to my feelings and experience of the lockdown in my community. I also had to had to construct text that would tie in with our unique image.
Brief
We had to choose a magazine out of a selected few provided to us. We then had to design a feature story in the style of the featured magazine as a double page spread. To do this we generated an image in response to our feelings and experience of the lockdown in our community. With this we had to construct text that would tie in with our unique image.
Solution
I want to show the positives of the lockdown that so many of us see as something negative. My concept is to show people that although we are all forced to stay in our bubbles, called our homes, we can enjoy doing all the things we were always to busy to do in our normal day to day. The bubbles represent our safe space where we are locked down. Since life has slowed down we can catch up on our self-care and try new things, all in the safety of our homes.
