Bauhausmann & The Dadas (Webcomic)

Bauhausmann and the Dadas is a comic series made up of short strips featuring characters who started life as costumes for my various art installations. The series focuses on the adventures of the dadas, who own an art gallery along with Bauhausmann. The chaotic, illogical approaches of the dadas clash regularly with the logical, careful tact of the bauhaus figure (their boss). Six strips were produced, and the series was rebooted in 2020 before production was stopped for Robosphere.
The series features the four main dada figures from my 2013/14 dada work, each of which are given names and behaviours inspired by historic dada artists. As seen in the image above, clockwise their names are Tzara, Hoch, Ball, Duchamp. The series also features Bauhausmann, who is an embodiment of bauhaus ideologies, and the white dada, who appears rarely as the security manager of the gallery. Other figures from my installations will also appear occasionally, as well as other characters from my main comic series.

A selection of strips are below from both the rebooted and original series.
