Project 1 - sound & colour with @warehouseartschool
We were playing with the idea of interpreting sound into colour and the concept of SYNESTHESIA, the perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to involuntary experience in a second sensory or cognitive pathways.
This first idea of the project was an interpretation of the piece Arvo Pärt “silentium”.
Many word came to my mind, like.. strident, repetitive, dance, ceremonies, rituals, patrons... so my process was relating this word and sound and colour that I feel right to mix, strident colour as the music it was, for me.
This is just started and I’m so exited.
