project 1: “sound and colour” at the @warehouseartschool
In a new way of interpreting the first respond to the music of Arvo Part “Silentium” I translate it into another form, actually two, that keeps same nuances as the original musical scape. But with a different perspective on the colour pattern, this time I had chosen The SILVER of the WIRE, inspired by the book “the secret lives of colour” when @kassiastclair says:
“...Silver is equated with the moon. Silver also waxes and wanes in alternate cycles of polishing and tarnishing. There is something in this imperfections that it more human: it seems to have a life cycle and, just as we die, so it brilliance dies a little too.”
I’m experimenting and playing with different shapes and backgrounds, no idea where I’m going but I’m obsessed with the form and details that comes from this.
