Type in Motion - The Internet, by Jon Bellion
For a final project we were to build on prior typographic instruction/skill sets
as well as culminate a multifaceted piece. I chose to use a program new to me in order to create type in motion. I used Adobe After Effects to rotate a section of lyrics from one of my favorite Jon Bellion songs, The Internet. We all “became famous” when the internet gave everyone access to everyone else. I wanted to create a slice of thought provoking, moving type that had a slightly old, vintage look and feel. Where it possibly could take you back to a time, or imagine a time with less social media pressure where you are not just pretending to live, but actually are living.
