Caffeine. Coffee

Caffeine Coffee is a fake family ran café located in a small town somewhere in the United States. This is my third round at this brand (but my second published), and I feel like this round went a lot smoother than my last two times.
When I was looking for inspiration for this project, I just searched "coffee" on Unsplash, and I noticed that people enjoy coffee and plants. What are relations? I don't have the slightest idea. I just enjoyed the color scheme. So I have coffee-creamer cream and planty-plant green.
Have you noticed the very random pentagon? Wondering "What does a pentagon have to do with coffee? That is very random"? Well, it is remnant of the first version of this design. I was using the atomic structure for caffeine. Clever right!? Right...? Well, it didn't look very good. Very clunky and hard to fit onto a cup or apron. So I threw the atomic structure out and kept a piece of it. That was the pentagon. And it TOTALLY doesn't look like a cream color stop sign!
Anyways. I started this project with the goal of creating a logo using imagery, rather than text. I'm not very good at imagery and need practice. I totally missed that goal. Immediately forgot about my personal goal and went straight for text. Disappointment. Sorry, Mom.
