UP-CYCLED & REUSABLE FABRIC RAKHIS
Hypothetical project was implemented successfully during Lockdown 2020 cum maternity period!
BRIEF
To design up cycled fabric Rakhis which can be reused and transformed into finger rings or necklaces/pendants or earrings.
I handcrafted these up cycled fabric rakhis from the cut pieces of fabric left out, after stitching.

A very unique and thoughtful idea to use the up-cycled fabric in a way which serves both the purposes making both brother and sister happy and creating many more memories with the fabric.
These Rakhis are to be sold along with a DIY kit which includes a finger ring base, hooks beads, threads(all jewellery making kit) with guidebook to make their own piece of jewellery item.
The eye catchy and vibrant designs will captivate the user and the DIY kit will fascinate them so that they can create beautiful piece of jewellery out of used Rakhi.
