Idols seemed to be viewed as "Perfect, innocent, ideal beings" to the point we forgot they are only humans, just like the rest of us.
Last year, I found a Korean boy group consists of 23 members called NCT. Just like idols, they deliver perfect performances everytime. And just like us, they are also only humans.
Inspired by the group, this project is a photo editing project in which dance practice footages were used as main sources. Dance practices are the time where the idols were not wearing any make up and/or performance outfits, showcasing their natural and daily looks freely. Taken screenshots and video snippets were edited to analog film results in hope to bring an imperfect humanly vibe.
