Something you must do when visiting South Korea is to visit a palace while wearing a Hanbok.
South Korea's two-piece traditional clothing is called 한복 (Han-bok).
This clothing is used for special occasions like weddings or festivals.
Around the most famous palace, Gyeongbokgung (경복궁), there's an infinity of rental shops for people to go and pick their favorite pieces and rent it by the hour.
The temple is open from 9am to 6pm, but during summer days the palace opens during nighttime.
Nearby other palaces like Deoksugung (덕수궁), Gyeonghuigung (경희궁), and Changdeokgung (창덕궁) can provide a different experience.
Entry tickets are about 3,000 korean won, but if you would like to take a look around all palaces, I recommend you get the All Palaces One-Entry Ticket for only 10,000 korean won.
Summer can be a bit too warm, so I recommend doing this during Autumn.
Besides, the scenery is absolutely wonderful.
Come visit South Korea!
