The teapot is instilled with a great deal of aesthetic and utilitarian baggage. However, I have often observed, many people either like to keep it as a sculptural artwork or reserve it for social gatherings. People often use the more convenient and hassle-free tea bags to brew a cup of tea over a teapot for their daily requirements. The convenience overpowers the experience, aroma and the character that teapot has to offer.
Inspired by the book 'Emotional Design' by Donald A. Norman, I strive to design a teapot that could be efficient, easy to clean and retain heat longer. Dimension 6 is a smart teapot that combines modern-day technology and a user-focused design to refine the tea brewing process, making it ideal for everyday use.

The integrated handle supports the hand in a better pivot position, hence promotes good comfort when lifting and while pouring the tea.
The lid snaps into its place, making it immune to fall out while pouring tea.
The spout adopts a fairly sharp edge to prevent the tea from dribbling all over while pouring.
Concealed spring hinge allows the Infuser to flip open/close easily.
The wireless charging is designed with integrated magnets that make the charger align and snap onto the teapot's surface.
