Its awkward carrying a bunch of gear to some places. So Id leave the Canon + tripod behind most times. I know alot of photographers think mobile phones arent really a ‘camera’ as such. When you’re stuck for space & weight, a really good mobile phone wins hands down, haha. 

 

Try being on a dog sled, its freezing and your fingers are almost numb after a minute, no time to fiddle with equipment. You have to get your shots and put your gloves back on before frostbite happens. 

 

As it turns out, I got mild frostbite, only redness and blisters on my fingers.
