THE PROBLEM: In my Data Visualization and Infographic class at the Rhode Island School of Design, my professor asked us to create an infographic that compiled ten different infographics for one country.

THE SOLUTION: I created this accordion book of Japan by designing the art in adobe illustrator and laying it out in Adobe InDesign. The book is cut so that the left folio is two inches shorter than the right folio. The top two inches of the right folio are cut so that each layer represents part of Japan's culture-a tsunami wave, buddhist temples, bonsai trees, mount fuji, and the japanese flag.
