Billy Blue assigned students the task of rebranding the logo of an Australian Music Festival of our choosing. I chose Meredith Music Festival because of their interesting backstory and quirky traditions, including 'the Boot', where festival goers hold their boot up in appreciation of how good the live music act is. I wanted to update their logo by infusing this quintessentially Meredith tradition into their identity with their outback Australian aesthetic by creating a bespoke word-mark with illustrated elements.
