Branding AndAlso
2018 | In Collaboration with Etch Design, Jaipur
AndAlso is an accessories brand based in Jaipur, India. They make modern, contemporary leatherwear and jewellery that are minimalist, functional and elegant. The brief was to create a wordmark to capture the essence of the brand and function as its logo.
On the left are initial iterations with the directions for the wordmark, which evolved into the simplified, minimal and chic options on the right.
The final wordmark had ALSO set in Bebas Neue, while the AND was custom-made in a lighter weight to complement the bolder second part of the name.
AndAlso's visual language is defined by a restrained palette of colours and materials, which is subdued, and limited to black and white as the main colours for printing, along with a material palette of copper foil and brown kraft paper.
Foil-stamped seals go on envelopes and packages to seal the labour of love that every single AndAlso product is.
