Prompted by the quote of a well-known politician, I decided to explore the concept of carefully contained everyday madness and how to express it in drawings. The idea of maintaining normality on the outside became even more relevant now in the difficult and frightening situation of the global pandemic.

I found that slightly sketchy line drawings with a sober, calm feel help to enhance the contrast in the "state of mind" renderings I try to show.
