Zoo Typeface
Zoo Typeface is a sans-serif typeface designed for a specific website, San Diego Zoo's official homepage. My goal for this project was to create a typeface that is readable in on-screen documents and match the San Diego Zoo's characteristics and mission. I focused specifically on representing friendliness by keeping my typeface organic and cared about the cohesiveness and consistency across characters. Its approachable, clean appearance allows for legibility at almost any size. It is also a suitable typeface for text, titles, captions, print, and web design creation. In this type specimen, I combined illustrative animals with various type settings to showcase the letterforms.
