Detroit Basketball Campaign

Detroit Basketball Brand Campaign 
Heading into the 2015-16 season, the Detroit Pistons wanted to create a fresh new campaign in the Metro Detroit marketplace. The team played home games in Auburn Hills, a suburb 30 miles from Detroit, and the focus of the campaign was to build an emotional connection between fans in the downtown area with the players and team. As Creative Director, I led the storyboarding, scripting, casting, wardrobe and shot direction for the TV spots, along with the design of all print and digital advertising. This campaign went on to win regional Emmy Awards for Best Commercial Campaign, Best Short Form Video and Best Writer. It also was given the Marketing Campaign of the Year Award by the NBA, as voted on by all 30 teams.
